Director Rohit Dhawan’s latest film, Dishoom, out in the UAE now, has been banned in Pakistan, and its lead actor, Varun Dhawan, is really upset about it.
Dhawan, who plays a rookie police officer named Junaid Ansari in the film, tweeted on Saturday: “Really upset that Dishoom is banned in Pakistan. I don’t think the film eventually shows any country in a bad light. It’s a wrong decision.”
Dishoom centres around India’s top batsman who goes missing in the Middle East and two police officials from either side of the Arabian Sea team up for a 36-hour manhunt.
The film also stars John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez.
