Delhi, 5th February 5, 2017.
Shiksha Sanskriti  Utthan Nyas,  Eastern region, organised   Environment Protection Rally At DDA flats, Mansarovar Park, Shahdara Delhi.  in the program established educationist  Sh. Dinanath Batra,  well known scientist doctor Sadachari Tomar,  Dr Usha Meena,  Mr. Anil Gautam,  Counselor from Durgapuri area,  Sushma Sharma,  Counselor from Ramnagar  ward, Sanjay Swami,  coordinator of Delhi area from Shiksha Sanskriti  Utthan Nyas  were present along with students and teachers from 32 schools. In collaboration with Delhi Public Library, Shiksha Sanskriti  Utthan Nyas also organised ‘Poster Making’ and ‘Slogan Writing’ competitions in related series of events.  In these events around 700 students from 35 schools in Delhi and Ghaziabad participated.  Winners of these events were given prices and certificates by Delhi Public Library, Cultural Ministry.
Sh. Dinanath Batra,   the Chief Guest of the program said, we will have to move towards our own culture to save the environment.  We will have to stop the use of Polythene plastic and thermocol. We will have to plant more trees and take care of them to make our mother nature more beautiful. Sh. Sanjay Swamy, the organiser of the program said that we want to make Environment protection, everybody’s part of life of. Environment protection is the moral obligation and duty of all of us. Therefore, the whole society and not just the schools should be contributing to it.  Children want to contribute to this cause.  We are trying to engage them for the same.  Children have taken the issue very seriously and therefore more than 700 students have translated their feelings and ideas on paper in the form of posters and slogans.  Children from class 5th to class 12th participated.  Market Association from Mandoli Road, Timber Market Association of Loni Road, R W A DDA flats Mansarovar Park, committee of Gurdwara Ramnagar,  Shaheed Smriti Chetna Samiti  and many others social organisations also contributed along with the schools for the cause of Environment protection.  This rally has become instrumental in developing an awareness related to Environment protection.  School students, Young adults, adults, elders,  business persons, shopkeepers and people from all walks of life participated  in the form of cycle rally, on foot and in the form of cycle rickshaw rally. Government Boys Senior Secondary School. No. 2 Mansarovar Park presented cultural programmes on the occasion.  Sanjay Vashisht,  president of Shaheed Smriti Chetna Samiti East Delhi and The coordinator of Shiksha Sanskriti  Utthan Nyas, East Delhi  thank the schools, teachers and students for enthusiastically participating in the event.   He also thanked different social organisations R W A  and Police Station of Mansarovar Park for their contribution.
